at the Franklin Mercantile
What to Expect
The doors open at 6:00 P.M. with hors d’oeuvres available.
Bring your own bottle of wine (no corkage fee) or any other adult beverage to enjoy during the cocktail hour or you may order from The Franklin Mercantile’s wine and beer list. Iced tea and water are also available.
This is a good time to get to know some new people or to sit and socialize with your group of friends.
Some evenings a soup course will be available around 6:45.
At 7:00, the Mathenys will introduce the evening’s menu and offer prayer for the meal.
The dinner buffet will be opened. It will generally consist of at least two entrees, often having a chicken or seafood entrée and a beef, pork or other meat entrée. There will be several side items, a bread, and a salad – always with homemade salad dressings. There will be a dessert buffet, giving you the choice of having just one dessert or a sampling of several.
You will never be rushed to leave. Stay and enjoy your wine and dessert and good company!
